The W.H Gray Men’s Ministry is proud to sponsor the Annual 900 Men Strong Scholarship and Community Service Awards Breakfast. This year will mark the 14 th time the event will take place. In keeping with our theme and purpose. "Making a Difference through Education", we will award $1,500 scholarships to male high school students who are working toward achieving academic excellence on a post-secondary level. We will also honor the contributions from some distinguished men, who have made significant contributions toward the advancement of our community. These will be dedicated men who have made outstanding contributions toward helping our youth and others throughout the Hampton Roads community. To date, we have:

Male high school seniors have been awarded over $82,000 in scholarships and have gone on to pursue a post-secondary education.

Today more than ever, young boys and men, especially those from historically disadvantaged backgrounds are far more likely to face discrimination and high unemployment. The one and most promising tool to alleviate these ills is joint community involvement in education. Our fundraising event is a sponsored breakfast with proceeds going to support our scholarship fund. Therefore, we are continuing to work toward our goal of attracting 900 Supporters to come together and join an ongoing effort in making a difference through education.
We also welcome the support of local businesses, churches, and government organizations in helping to ensure our local male high school seniors are celebrated, mentored, and provided with monetary support to achieve their dreams.
